Keynote Speaker: Our Keynote Speaker for the event will be Rashad Elby, Assistant Director of Player Relations & Personnel, who will present a talk on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) in college sports.
Rashad is a Pennsylvania native who upon graduation attended Kent State University. Rashad has had a variety of different opportunities in the sports industry. He lived in Indianapolis for 15 years where he worked for the NCAA national office, the NFL Combine, coached high school football then was hired as the defensive backs coach at Lock Haven University (PA). Later, Rashad returned back to Indianapolis where he was hired by USA Football to help usher in the sport of football into the 2028 Olympics. Before he could see that goal accomplished, he was offered a position on Coach Franklins staff at Penn State that was a no brainer. Initially Rashad was hired to work in the recruiting department and has since transitioned into a hybrid role of recruiting/NIL.
